I welcome referrals for a Specialist review of adults with Diabetes and in all areas of Endocrinology, in private rooms conveniently located on Auckland's North Shore.

Areas of my expertise include Type-1 and Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension (including 24h Ambulatory BP Monitoring), disorders of the Thyroid (including thyroid ultrasound and FNA biopsy), Parathyroid, Pituitary and Adrenal glands, Hypogonadism and Erectile Dysfunction, Menstrual Irregularity, Osteoporosis and Bone Metabolism Disorders, and other Endocrine Syndromes. I am an Affiliated Provider with Southern Cross.

I studied Medicine at the University of Glasgow and completed an intercalated BSc(Hons) in Genetics before being awarded MBChB with Commendation in 1999. I began specialising in Endocrinology and Diabetes in 2002 and was awarded a PhD for diabetes research in 2007. After completing a 1 year Fellowship at the Garvan Institute for Medical Research and St. Vincent's Hospital, Sydney I moved to New Zealand in 2010 and live on the North Shore.
